The main character of the book is Lissa, Hollywood actress and diva. As the book opens, Lissa suspects her fourth husband is being less than faithful to her and hires a detective to follow her conniving spouse. It goes without saying that the detective is leading man material, and he and Lissa develop a rather interesting relationship.

Lovers and Players

The 3 half-brothers have had a heck of a bad childhood, yet they do more than survive it. I really enjoyed getting to know each of the three brothers, and it was very satisfying to see them interact and grow, as people and as brothers. None of the three is perfect, but what is enjoyable is seeing how each of them faces up to various bad habits and attempts to get past it. Despite the complete rottenness of their dad, it was interesting to see what he had planned for them (and why) and how they dealt with him. The suspense of the reason for the meeting was fun.

Deadly Embrace

It is about a lady who finds out the most appalling story about her father. The setting starts off in New York then a shift to California, and then Nevada, and Madison Castelli is the main character. Madison’s father has been accused for two murderous crimes and he has vanished, out to kill more, to get revenge on his worst enemies. Meanwhile everything else is in a disaster in Madison’s life, he boyfriend is missing, her step-mom friend gets shot and Madison is going crazy. Madison’s biggest external conflict is being affected by all of this stress, with her work, etc. Madison’s biggest internal conflict thinking about staying in L.A. with her best friend Natalie and forget all about helping her father, or got to Las Vegas to stop her father.

To get these missions complete with the best chance of success. These agents are able to bring many murderers, drug dealers, psychopaths, and other criminals to justice.

Maximum Security

Maximum Security is about James' third mission with the campus legend Dave and his sister Lauren. James has to get into a prison, break out a criminal and do this with hardly any support inside the prison itself.

Brigands M.C. 

This book is about a boy who's family is in a motor bike gang. this illegal motor bike gang is a very dangerous group. The boy(Dante) is the son of a member in the gang. Dante is always getting in to fights in school and is getting in trouble. One day the leader of the group goes to Dante's house and kills his all of his family except Dante and his little sister. These two run away.

The General 

The General by Robert Muchamore is another action packed book in the cherub series. This book is set in the U.S. James Lauren and their friends join a war game/training exercise against American troops and fighting with soldiers from the U.K. This book has a little less of the covert spy action as it's predecessors but what it losses are made up for in action. Set near Las Vegas, James gets in a bit of trouble as usual.

The Recruit 

This book is about a child named James Adams whose mother has just died. When his little sister got sent to live with her father, Uncle Ron, James had to move to the Nebraska House. James meets a boy named Kyle. But a while after James came to the Nebraska House; they sent him and Kyle to Cherub. It turned out that Kyle was already a part of Cherub. Cherub is a organization in the UK that takes kids and turns them into agents. They send them on top secret missions that M15 or the police don't know about.

Mad Dogs

Mad dogs are written by Robert Muchamore this book is in the cherub serious of books. This book is about two gangs that are having a war and cherub is trying to stop it. The Salford boys and the mad dogs are the ones having the fight. The mad dog is run by Sasha and the Salford boys were run by Major Dee.

My favourite character is Zara Asker the chairwomen of cherub she was my favourite character because she was kind to Lauren and she was nice to meatball as well.

Divine Madness 

In this book james goes on a mission to stop another one of help ears plans. he goes to Australia and has to become part of this group called the survivors so he gets excepted by the group so he can get to the inside of help earth's operation and shut it down. The people in the survivors play mind control tricks and james needs to no give in to all the tricks.

Note: Great for early teens, introduces them to a lot of world issues like discrimination or crime circles. The characters each have their place and act almost as a friend to the reader, a lot of round characters, very realistic. You get the chance to grow up with the same characters over twelve books.
